Welcome to Ryan's Trucks where you will find my Big Rig and Heavy Equipment art.

Who I Am

For nearly three decades Ryan Montgomery has been dreaming and drawing trucks and heavy equipment. Inspired by the intricate lines and practical power of big rigs, he drew his first creation at three and since then his interest has grown along with his abilities.

The colorful creations spring from Ryan’s imagination, but they are inspired by frequent trips to the micro-metropolises of truck stops, where Ryan shares a meal with truckers and explores the working world of Peterbilts, Kenworths and Macks.

Although challenged by autism, Ryan embraces life to the fullest. He lives and works on Catalina Island and is employed full-time by Von's. Ryan has volunteered more than 5,000 hours at the Catalina Island Conservancy's Native Plant Nursery and volunteers for the City of Avalon and Sugarloaf Books on many of his days off. When Ryan isn't working, volunteering or drawing he can usually be found on Avalon's basketball court.
